ADA Ramp Build in Breaux Bridge, LA
This customer contacted us about repairing some concrete in their commercial parking lot, pouring a small side walk, and building a concrete ada ramp with handrails and grass boxes in Breaux Bridge, LA. Initially the project was to all be done at one time but it eventually was broken up into sections.
They decided against repairing the parking lot for now. They had us come out first and pour the small sidewalk, then the project was put on stand by while they transplanted palm trees that were in the way of the ramp portion of the project. Once they trees were moved we got to work we had to cut and jackhammer a large section of concrete which was 12 inches thick in order to make room for the new ramp.
Once that was done we were able to form and pour the ramp. After a week or so of letting the concrete cure a bit we came back filled the grass boxes with top soil, laid sod, painted the ada parking spots, installed the railings and the sewer clean out all in all the project took a while but turned out beautifully. We will be walking the entire parking lot with the project manager this month to put together a list of all the repairs needed so we can get to work on that as well.
Budget: $19,500
